Objective

In the PedVer tool, a user needs to be able to retrieve data selecting mapset(s) related to the study selected

User Story

As a PedVer user, I need to be able to retrieve data by selecting mapset(s) related to the study chosen and be able to download any files from data retrieval, using various filters, Consensus, and Splitting.

  • Need a new or modified BrAPI mapset call that will provide mapset information based on a selected study 

  • On the Get data page, below the DATASETS dropdown,  

    • There should  be a dropdown from which you can select MAPSETS 

    • The list of mapsets presented are related to the markers that are under the platform related to the selected study 

      • If there is only one mapset, we auto-select that when a study is selected, so the user isn't required to select anything 

      • If there are multiple mapsets, we don't auto-select anything, we let the user select 

  • In any/all previews (whether selecting <PREVIEW DATA> on the Get data page, or <APPLY> on the Filter and/or Consensus page(es) ) 

    • Two rows are needed above the row of marker names 

      • chromosome name 

      • marker position on that chromosome 

  • The map needs to be incorporated into the Flapjack Project file (?)

As a Pedver user, I need a new or modified BrAPI mapset call that will provide mapset information based on a selected study

PedVer: Get data page - MAPSETS dropdown

As a PedVer user, On the Get data page, below the DATASETS dropdown, 

  • There should  be a dropdown from which you can select MAPSETS 

  • The list of mapsets should be ALL those available in the GOBii-GDM system (we will not filter mapsets according to the markers in the dataset)

  • The user should have an option to select NO mapset for the dataset

  • If there are multiple mapsets, we don't auto-select anything, we let the user select

  • The marker positions for the selected map should be filtered according to the markers in the dataset (ie if there are 1000 markers in the mapset, but only 5 markers in the dataset, only the 5 marker positions need to be used in subsequent selections)

PedVer: Export page - list of all the possible files to download

As a PedVer user, the Export page should have a list of all the possible files to download, created from the previous pages . THIS PART IS NOT NEEDED FOR NOW.

  • Get data – raw file 

  • Filter – filtered data 

  • Consensus – data including consensus calls 

  • Split – Flapjack project file
