Presentations from two new members - Bode Olukolu and Kenta Shirasawa
· Dr. Bode Olukolu - based at the University of Tennessee. He is in charge of genotyping optimization for the sweetpotato project, and has been instrumental in generating most of the datasets Marcelo and Dorcus use
· Kenta Shirasawa, shirasaw@kazusa.or.jp. He is a scientist in the lab of Sachiko Isobe in Japan and does polyploid genetics/genomics work (Strawberry, sweetpotato etc) with me. His presentation is ‘A simple approach to dissect the complex genetics in polyploid crops’.
