2.2.4 deployment

• Schedule deployment with sysadmins

• Deployment to CIMMYT will be delayed

  • Evaluation instances are managed by EBS dev team

  • Can work with another rep at CIMMYT for testing

  • Jay will be managing deployment to CIMMYT AWS

  • 2.2.4 should be deployed next week

• Timescope and KDC not accessed with KeyCloak

• Auth needs to be unified across all tools

• Can you log into arbitrary host from Timescope?

  • If Timescope is restricted to same host it is deployed on, most login info is unnecessary

• Will current implementation work for 3.0?

  • caveat that we will improve for 3.1

• Do we expect users to access non-GDM BrAPI instances with CAST?

  • e.g. BreedBase

  • Possible, but unlikely. We will not support.

• Current selection of crop database is by URL

  • Should provide list of crops to select from, as in extractor
