Aparna: joint CIMMYT a year ago, technical programmer manager for CIMMYT GMP, activity based, breeding requirement based. Working with Mike on how to improve efficiency and streamlined for GMP. Private sector with Monsanto and Syngenta-Tailand for 10+ years in molecular breeding. Expectation is to understand what this WG targeting. How GMP leverage and contribute to this WG.
Mike: how to function as a team, how workflows formed, collect use cases documented, start describe the activities already doing. Aparna is already helping with Kenya, efforts for application in breeding program right now. Some process have not been clear with description and roles. Hope to formalize and communicate with breeding team. For GOBii, we have been working for some time, in terms of developing data management and support tools, describe next tools and when and how to use the tools, outcomes to go forth.
Manilal: Began working with EiB last year, responsibilities in marker profile in HTPG platform, documentation for different programs in different stages, agree with Eng on templates and what to go to HTPG platform. Some are ahead of others, some not sharing information timely, not as nearly complete. Place them in the EiB toolbox. EiB toolbox is organizing portfolio, so until Sept… Recently connected with Mike, contract until March. Mike likes to contribute to the documentation.
