Definitions

Manifest - A fixed set of markers that run in a single reaction. Use the manifest to extract data by the manifest name, rather than listing the markers contained in the manifest.

Field Descriptions

  • Manifest name: Mandatory name of the manifest.
  • Code: System generated text to identify the defined manifest.
  • File Path: Optional file name including fully qualified path to manifest file.

Add a New Manifest

  1. From the menu bar, select Define | Manifest. A list of existing manifests display on the left side of the form. Export exports a text file of the manifests listed.
  2. Enter the manifest name in the Manifest Name field. The manifest name must be unique.
  3. Optionally enter a file path in the File Path field for the manifest file. This is usually provided by the vendor.
  4. Click Add New. A confirmation message displays with successful request, and the name of the new manifest displays on the left-hand side of the form.  If unsuccessfull, the message "Manifest name already exists" will appear.

Update a New Manifest

  1. Select Define | Manifest from the menu bar. A list of existing manifests display on the left side of the form.
  2. Select the reference you want to edit from the left-hand side of the page.
  3. Edit any applicable fields.
  4. Click Update. A confirmation message displays indicating that the update was successful.
