1. From the menu bar, select Create | Projects. A list of existing projects display on the left-hand side of the page. Clicking Export exports a text file of the projects listed.

2. Select the PI contact from the drop-down menu. All projects available to the PI are filtered by the PI. To add a new PI contact, refer to Contacts. 
3. Add an unique project name in the Project Name field. The project name needs to be unique to the GOBii-GDM instance.
4. Add an optional project description and optional properties in the applicable fields.
5. Click Add New. The new project name displays on the left-hand side of the page. If the project name already exist, an error message displays.
6. Alternately, you can create a new project by editing an existing project, then click Add New, as long as you assign a unique project name in the Project Name field. Or, click Clear Fields in an existing project, edit fields, then click Add New. Clicking Clear Fields does not delete an existing project entry. When you edit empty fields, then click Add New and a new project generates.
